Contact Meridian ↗What does Meridian Stock Solutions do?
Meridian provides a business-to-business route for commercially viable non-food stock. We assess suitable opportunities with a view to direct acquisition and agree the commercial, operational and brand-related terms before anything proceeds.
What types of stock do you consider?
We may consider new and sealed, excess, surplus, residual, seasonal, discontinued, open-box and selected returned non-food consumer stock. Every opportunity is assessed individually.
Who do you work with?
We welcome enquiries from businesses, organisations and professional stockholders across a wide range of sectors. Anyone offering stock must be able to demonstrate ownership or clear authority to sell it.
What quantities do you consider?
Our main focus is commercial quantities, from meaningful carton or mixed-lot volumes through to pallets and larger stockholdings. Suitability depends on the product, condition, location and demand—not quantity alone.
What information should I provide?
Please include product names or a manifest, quantities, condition, location, ownership position, asking price, timescale and any known restrictions. Photographs, testing information and representative samples may also be useful.
Will my enquiry be kept confidential?
We treat supplier identities, stock information and commercial discussions with care and do not publicise a relationship without permission. If you require specific confidentiality terms, these should be raised at the outset and documented where agreed.
How do you protect brands and existing sales channels?
Before a transaction, we can discuss appropriate controls around geography, timing, buyer type, de-branding, packaging or particular channels. The relevant route depends on the stock, and any restrictions relied upon should be confirmed in writing.
Does an enquiry guarantee an offer?
No. An enquiry allows us to assess the opportunity but does not create an offer, contract or obligation. Further information, samples or an inspection may be required before terms can be proposed.
Can you arrange collection?
Collection may be possible depending on the location, quantity, access and agreed transaction. Transport, loading responsibilities, collection windows, costs and risk transfer are confirmed separately in writing.
Do you handle returned or mixed-condition stock?
We consider selected returns and open-box opportunities where the condition profile can be understood. Manifests, grading information, testing, sample checks and photographs help us assess the work involved.
Can you support recurring stock movements?
Yes, where the products and operational requirements are a suitable fit. Tell us the expected categories, condition, average volume, frequency, location and any reporting or brand requirements.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to acknowledge clear enquiries promptly. Assessment time depends on the information provided, product type, volume, condition complexity, restrictions and whether further checks are needed.
Still have a question?
Tell us about the stock.
We'll give you a clear response.
Include the products, quantities, condition, location, timescale and any confidentiality or channel requirements that matter to the enquiry.
