Direct stock acquisition
We assess suitable excess, surplus, residual, seasonal and returned non-food stock with a view to agreeing a direct purchase on clear commercial terms.

Confidential B2B stock solutions
Meridian works with businesses, organisations and professional stockholders across a wide range of sectors. We assess each commercially viable non-food stock opportunity individually, with discretion built into the process.
Stock solutions, handled properly
01 / OVERVIEWStock can become surplus for many reasons: range changes, cancelled orders, seasonal demand, customer returns, packaging updates or a shift in commercial priorities. Whatever the cause, the next step should be structured and proportionate.
Meridian provides a direct, business-to-business route. We begin with the facts, assess the opportunity on its own merits and only proceed where the products, quantities, condition, handling requirements and commercial expectations align.
Our services
Our role is to make a potentially complicated stockholding easier to assess and move, while keeping communication direct and expectations realistic.
We assess suitable excess, surplus, residual, seasonal and returned non-food stock with a view to agreeing a direct purchase on clear commercial terms.
Where stock requires additional care, we can discuss confidentiality, territory, timing, de-branding and channel requirements before terms are agreed.
From one-off opportunities to recurring stock flows, we coordinate the information, assessment and handover around the practical needs of the stockholder.

Commercial judgement
Clear manifests, product identifiers, quantities, condition details, location and timing help us form a realistic view quickly. For returned or mixed-condition goods, photographs, testing information and representative samples can also be useful.
A clear process
An enquiry starts a conversation; it does not commit either party. Each stage is confirmed before the next begins.
Send a stock list with quantities, condition, location, ownership, timing and any known restrictions.
We review the product profile, handling requirements, likely demand and operational fit.
If there is a fit, price, payment, delivery arrangements and any brand-protection requirements are set out clearly.
Once terms are agreed in writing, collection or delivery is coordinated around the agreed timescale.
Discretion & brand protection
We treat supplier identities, commercial discussions and stock information with care. We do not publicise a supplier relationship without permission, and brand-sensitive requirements can be discussed before any transaction is agreed.
Depending on the stock and the supplier's objectives, this may include agreed territories, timing, customer type, de-branding, packaging treatment or restrictions on particular channels. Any controls that form part of the transaction should be documented clearly in writing.
Responsible stock recovery
Finding a productive route for viable stock can reduce avoidable disposal, extend product life and recover value that would otherwise be lost. Where practical, we also look to consolidate movements and reuse or recycle suitable packaging.
